Jim McDermott

Jim joined the team at EverRise in May 2024 in the role of Chief Operating Officer to work alongside leadership and the operations team as a strategic partner to help drive growth and profitability. Previously, Jim worked as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Commonwealth Financial Network, where he began in 1999. While he has a strong strategic planning background, Jim’s roots are in customer service and is passionate about helping people be able to live their best lives.

• FINRA Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 53, 55, 63 and 66 securities registrations
• MBA in Finance from San Diego State University.

While Jim grew up in Worcester, MA, he moved to San Diego shortly after college for 23 years and is still getting reaccustomed to the New England weather. When Jim isn’t at work, he is watching his son, Ronin, play baseball and hockey. He also enjoys skiing and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
